• In this flexible, paid role, it is compulsory to organise and host an in-person event at your university campus with a social mobility focus, alongside a team member from BDO. Additionally, other tasks will include lecture shout outs, social media promotion, society collaboration, face-to-face networking and wider promotion at your university such as working with the careers department and other academic departments. 

• The main responsibilities of this role are to host an in-person event and gain as many applications as possible for BDO opportunities to increase brand awareness and engagement. 

• This is a highly creative role, so we are looking forward to hearing your promotional ideas for the campaign!  

• You will also be required to attend events organised by your university or by societies to ensure knowledge of BDO and their opportunities are spread far and wide across campus, thus increasing brand awareness.    

• You will be utilising social media to drive engagement to BDO’s Instagram page, including but not limited to hosting an Instagram takeover on their @lifeatbdo Instagram page and creating engaging video content to headhunt ideal candidates.  

• You will be integral in representing BDO in the right way, demystifying the accountancy sector and supporting BDO in achieving their diversity aspirations, by encouraging underrepresented groups to apply to BDO.    

• Most importantly, you will receive regular support and feedback every step of the way and will work closely with one of BDO’s Early Careers Advisors throughout the season.
