Oxford Online Pharmacy are looking for a candidate with fantastic telephone manner, a strong personality and a good commercial awareness to join them on their journey of growth following a round of investment 

Who is the company?

  • Oxford Online Pharmacy are one of very few online pharmacies to have passed the recent round of CQC inspections for digital healthcare providers - across all categories of care. 
     

What is the role? 

This is an office based position for all work on Mondays to Fridays, there is no public transport available to the office – we are in a rural area 5 miles from Banbury Railway Station so you must be able to drive 

Oxford Online Customer Service  
 

  • Maximizing prescription numbers and looking for opportunities to grow the business 

  • Taking customer orders over the phone in a professional courteous manner  Processing sales through SagePay / online payment method  

  • Answering queries on the supply and availability of medicines  

  • Responding to customer enquiries, both in the pharmacy and over the telephone, referring queries to the pharmacist when relevant  

  • Liaising with Online Doctors to resolve customer issues  

  • There may be optional working at home on some weekends as per agreed rota – all time to be taken in lieu or as overtime at management discretion  

 

Administration  
 

  • Helping to maintain reasonable dispensary stock levels  

  • Ordering items from suppliers  

  • Ensuring that health and safety requirements are met  

  • Keep your work and communal areas clean and tidy  

  • Follow all company guidance using your PC / Laptop as appropriate  

  • Counting prescriptions and keeping computerised records up to date  

  • Ensure that prescription documentation is maintained and stored appropriately in accordance with the law  

 

General  
 

  • Be responsible for maintaining the Health & Safety standards within the business, in line with the company H&S policy  

  • Take appropriate action to minimise risks and report any near misses  

  • Work as a team ensuring effective communication at all levels  

  • Complete online or attend relevant training and ensure any agreed deadlines are met  

  • Ensure high standards of security practice within the branch, both stock and premises  

  • Ensure awareness and adherence to all company SOP’s  

  • Attend company meetings as required  

  • Support company initiatives and promotions  

  • Follow the company process for requesting holidays using the online portal. All holidays are subject to approval by your line manage

Who is best suited to this role? 

Please note that we will need a full CV since leaving school with any gaps explained – it wont be a problem if there are gaps, but for DBS purposes this will be needed 

  • Customer service experience  

  • Preferably you will have previous experience in a medical or a pharmacy related area  

  • Computer literate  

  • Good time management skills  

  • Good numeracy and literacy skills  

  • Good telephone manner
