An Exciting Opportunity to Attend a Women-In Recruitment Event with the Prospect of Joining National Grid as a Graduate Substation Engineer

About the Event

National Grid are hosting an exciting recruitment event in January 2025 to empower women to consider a career in this space. The aim of the event is to promote their fantastic Substation Engineering scheme which runs across various locations across the UK. To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will be in your final year or graduate in an electrical engineering discipline (Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Robotic, Power etc.). Although you will come from an electrical engineering educational background, no prior experience or knowledge of the specific field is required as National Grid will provide all the information on what the role entails and its career opportunities.

The event will be held online and will be an excellent chance for you to showcase your skills and abilities. As this is an exclusive event for women, the event will be invitation-only so you will need to register your interest, and you will speak with a member from Sanctuary Graduates who will approve your application.

We recommend that you do not make an application until you have attended the event so that you put your best application forward!
