The Opportunity:

As a Lab Assistant Intern, you will be exposed to a variety of responsibilities designed to help you build essential technical skills and gain practical experience in the field, including:

  • Conducting material testing to defined specifications and test procedures.
  • Recording and reporting of test results and data to various team members.
  • Understanding and complying with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality systems of the Colas Ireland group.

Who can apply:

  • Studying Civil Engineering or Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences and seeking a placement as part of your degree.
  • Located in Ireland.
  • Computer skills – O365l.
  • Hands on experience with diverse computer systems and networks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve multiple issues.
  • Record keeping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem solving/decision making.
