Persimmon Homes is seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate to join its Land & Planning team based in Lancaster. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career with one of the UK's leading housebuilders, gaining exposure to the full development process while working alongside experienced professionals.
The role is ideally suited to a graduate who is commercially aware, analytical and eager to learn. Whilst a Land, Planning or Property-related degree would be advantageous, Persimmon Homes also welcomes applications from any background providing that you possess technical or analytical skills with strong capabilities in research, communication and problem-solving skills.
This is an office-based position, providing the opportunity to learn directly from an experienced and collaborative team.
Support the Land & Planning team with research, analysis and reporting.
Review planning policy, technical information and market data to help inform business decisions.
Assist in identifying development opportunities and evaluating potential risks.
Prepare reports, presentations and supporting documentation.
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders.
Work collaboratively across the business to support projects and meet key deadlines.
Develop an understanding of the land acquisition and planning process within residential development.
Persimmon Homes is looking for graduates who can demonstrate:
A degree (2:1 preferred) in Land, Planning, Geography, Property, Real Estate, Environmental Studies or another analytical or technical discipline.
You must have achieved A* - C in your A-levels or equivalent.
You must have the full Unrestricted Right to Work in the UK.
Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and present findings clearly.
Commercial awareness and an interest in understanding business risk and opportunity.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
A proactive approach, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to learn.
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive, close-knit team.
