A joint venture by DXC Technology, Lloyd’s, and the International Underwriting Association (IUA), we have been operating for over 20 years in the London market (Lloyd's and Company), in both insurance and reinsurance. The Velonetic Graduate Programme 

Kickstart your career with a permanent role from day one on our two-year Graduate Programme. You’ll gain hands-on experience through rotations in your chosen business area and complete a three-month secondment in a different part of the business to broaden your perspective. 

 

We’ll support you in achieving relevant professional qualifications, starting with the CII Certificate in Insurance in your first year, and pair you with a senior sponsor to guide your development. You’ll also have a buddy to help you settle in and connect with our vibrant Early Careers community. 

 

The role  

In this role, you’ll work across both our Sales team and Market Management & Governance function, giving you a strong foundation for a career in customer success, account management, or sales. 

 

Sales at Velonetic is all about building long-term partnerships. We work closely with customers to understand their goals and challenges, helping them unlock value through our solutions—not cold calling, but strategic engagement. 

 

Market Management & Governance ensures we operate with transparency and accountability, managing relationships with key market associations and supporting governance across our services. 

 

What you’ll be doing 

In Sales, you’ll: 

  • Collaborate with Strategy and Customer Relationship Management teams to develop strategic account plans, identify growth markets, and analyse competitors 

  • Conduct research and analysis to align Velonetic’s services with customer objectives 

  • Help create tailored success plans that deliver measurable outcomes 

  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Support teams to deliver seamless customer experiences 

  • Gather customer insights to shape future product development and service enhancements 

  • Identify opportunities to drive growth and innovation for customers 

  • Work with Marketing and Communications to support go-to-market strategies and campaigns 

 

In Market Management & Governance, you’ll: 

  • Gain insight into how a critical national services provider governs itself 

  • Support senior leaders in reporting service performance, change, and strategy to customers 

  • Interact with Finance, Business and Technology Service Delivery, and other teams to ensure accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders 

  • Work with subject matter experts to navigate the complex and challenging market governance framework 

  • Contribute to commercial and contractual engagement with customers and market associations 

 

To succeed in this role you will:

  • Stage 2  - pre-recorded video interview  

  • Stage 3 - live interview via Microsoft Teams  

  • Stage 4 - final stage assessment centre (in person at our London office in March)
